VISA APPLICATION
If you are not a Ghanaian, you might need a visa to enter Ghana depending on your citizenship.
For European travelers, please visit the Embassy of Ghana to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the European Union website for further information about visa applications.

For ECOWAS states (Nigeria, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Togo, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Liberia, Benin, Cape Verde) a visa is not required for all types of passports for a stay of less than 90 days.
For *Southern and Eastern African countries (*Lesotho, Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Kenya) a visa is not required for all types of passports for a stay of less than 60 days.

TOURISM INFORMATION
The first African country to gain its independence, Ghana has a very strong identity and much to offer the curious traveller. The event takes place at the Marriott Hotel, close to Accra's Kotoka International Airport. And, the business district is located in Osu. More information on attractive touristic visits.

Several international airlines, including British Airways and Delta Airlines, operate regularly scheduled flights from Ghana to major cities in North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

MONEY
Ghana’s currency is the cedi which comes in denominations of GHC 200, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1. Coins come in denominations of GHC 2 and 1 and also 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p & 1 pesewas. Foreign currency can be freely exchanged at any Bank or Forex Bureaux in the country. 1 US$ is around 15,50 GHC.
