Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Ghana-EU Business Forum taking place on the 3rd and 4th of July on the theme: "Fostering Investment in Non-Traditional Value Chains under the EU Global Gateway Strategy”

This year’s theme, reflects the evolving and robust partnership between the European Union and Ghana. The Forum embodies the fruitful social, political, and economic cooperation that has developed over the years and which continues to grow.

AGENDA

  • A plenary on Ghana’s business environment and investment opportunities under the EU’s Global Gateway strategy, and sectoral value chains panel discussions, among others.

  • The official launch of the Special Measure on the Ghana component of the Team Europe Initiative on manufacturing and access to vaccines, medicines, and health technologies in Africa, with a highlight on vaccines (MAV+).

BUSINESS PROMOTION

A dedicated space for exhibitions opened to the EU, its Member States and the private sector from Europe and Ghana.

  • Booths for Ghanaian and EU business support services, banking products and services and EU-financed projects of support to the private sector.

  • Dedicated exhibition area: A specific area will be allocated for approximately 50 business booths, ensuring an even representation of Ghanaian and EU products. This area will be designed to facilitate easy navigation and interaction between visitors and exhibitors.

  • Themed booths: they will be set up to reflect brand identity and product uniqueness. This will also include interactive displays, product demonstrations and mini workshops.  

  • A networking cocktail.
