Yann Emonet Ripoll

Economic and Trade Counsellor of the Embassy of Spain in Ghana since September 2023. The previous four years he worked in the Embassy of Spain in Ecuador. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona and a master’s degree in international business administration. In 2015 he became a Civil Servant of the Spanish Administration as a member of the Corps of Trade Experts and Economists. He held different positions in the Trade Department with Europe, Asia and Oceania of the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. Before becoming a civil servant, he worked in the private sector, mainly in the area of international business development in the IT sector.
