Dr Lucia Addae is the Executive Director of PMAG WAPMA and FAPMA. She has a Pharmacy Degree and a Master’s degree in Economic Policy Management.

My organisation

We are the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Ghana, a collective of companies dedicated to advancing the pharmaceutical industry in our country. Our mission is to promote the development and manufacturing of safe, effective, and affordable medicines for the Ghanaian population. We work collaboratively to enhance regulatory standards, foster innovation, and create a sustainable ecosystem for pharmaceutical production. Together, we strive to ensure that every Ghanaian has access to high-quality healthcare solutions.

About me

Dr Lucia Addae is the Executive Director of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Ghana (PMAG), the Executive Secretary of the West Africa Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Association (WAPMA), and a Board Secretariat member of Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Association (FAPMA). She is also the Chairperson of the Lady Pharmacists Association of Ghana (LAPAG) and a Board Member and Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) Trust Fund. Lucia previously worked in various multinational companies including AstraZeneca, Hoffman La Roche and Johnson and Johnson. She has served in roles not limited to Policy & Government Affairs Manager, Key Accounts Manager, Product manager, Medical Sales Representative. She has specialized in Clinical areas including Gastrointestinal, Asthma, Infection, Oncology, amongst others. She has a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Economic Policy Management and also works as freelance consultant.
