About me

Eugene Eluerkeh is a Strategic Growth and Innovation Advisor, investor, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of leadership and management experience across multiple sectors, including logistics, downstream oil & gas, and retail. He is passionate about helping startups succeed, scaling growth-stage companies, and driving innovation within corporate environments.

Currently, Eugene serves as a Senior Growth Advisor with GrowthAfrica, a pan-African enterprise support organization. In this role, he works closely with entrepreneurs to build scalable ventures, unlock market opportunities, and deliver sustainable impact. Known for his systems thinking and practical facilitation style, Eugene helps teams and organizations navigate complexity, align around strategy, and bring bold ideas to life.

Eugene is a bilingual (EN/FR) senior facilitator and mentor, having led sessions on Design Thinking, Innovation, Strategy, and Business Transformation for startups, corporations, academic institutions, and international development agencies. His work spans Ghana and other countries, where he has contributed to innovation research and acceleration, capacity building, and ecosystem development.

He holds executive education credentials from the Stanford Seed Transformation Program, Singapore Management University (SMU) in Product Management, and is a Certified Higher Teaching Professional from Harvard University’s Derek Bok Center. This blend of executive learning and on-the-ground experience equips him with the insight to bridge theory and practice in impactful ways.

Eugene’s core interests lie in digital transformation, technology commercialization, informal sector economics, inclusive trade, and innovation systems development. He is particularly fascinated by how technologies are reshaping the future of work, commerce, and opportunity—especially in frontier markets like Africa.
