About me

Simon Madjie is the current Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC). He is a lawyer and an investment promotion and facilitation professional with over a decade’s experience in initiating, leading, and strengthening investment and trade partnerships between the United States, Ghana, and other African countries. Prior to his current role, he served as the Executive Secretary of the American Chamber of Commerce, Ghana (AMCHAM) where he conducted business advocacy, and held several high-level policy dialogues with policy makers and the private sector in Ghana and the United States to create a favourable business and investment climate for foreign and local businesses. He was the founding coordinator of the AMCHAM Ghana AfCFTA Resource Center, an institution set up to bridge the information gap about Africa's biggest trade agreement for international businesses.
