About
Roger Stuart has been the Head of the European Investment Bank’s Regional Office in Abidjan since September 2023. He is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience in structured, corporate, project and banking finance.
A lawyer by background, Mr. Stuart worked in prestigious law firms and financial institutions in Montreal, New York and London before joining the EIB in 2010. Most recently he was the Head of Division of a team of lawyers the handled the Bank’s activities outside the EU.
My organisation
The European Investment Bank is the long term financing arm of the European Union. We support EU policies by financing viable projects that have impact, create economic and social growth and are environmentally sustainable. Outside the European Union, this includes the EU’s Global Gateway initiative.
